4th Bus & Special Vehicle Show slated for Jan 15-17, 2015

The Society of Indian
Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) will be organising the 4th Bus & Special
Vehicle Show 2015 at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, near Delhi. The show is
scheduled from January 15 – 17, 2015 and is being organised by SIAM in
association with Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises,
Government of India, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Government of
India and Association of State Road Transport Undertakings (ASRTU).The show
shall provide a common platform for the manufacturers of commercial vehicles in
the country.
Those participating include
the likes of Ashok Leyland, Force Motors, General Motors, Isuzu Motors India,
Mahindra & Mahindra, Renault, SML Isuzu, Tata Motors, Toyota Kirloskar
Motor, Mitsubishi, Allison Transmission,
Hindustan Petroleum, Innova Rubbers, K B Autotech, Panasonic India, Sidhwal
Technologies, AVL, Trans ACNR Solutions Pvt Ltd and others.
Different kinds of buses will
be showcased at the expo. These would include City Buses, Luxury Buses, School
Buses, Hybrid Buses, Mini Buses, Vans, Pickup Trucks, SUVs, MUVs, Ambulances,
Application Vehicles, Banks, Automobile Services, etc. Component and
accessories for Bus and Other Special Vehicles would also be on display.
Vishnu Mathur, Director
General, SIAM said, “The show has grown in stature in the past 4 years of its
existence. This year we wish to take a step further and organise this event at
an even bigger scale. We firmly believe that this event would help boost the
commercial vehicles industry which has been going through a very trying time
since the last 30 months”.
Concurrent events at the
Venue:
• SIAM in association with
ASRTU is organising an “Interactive Workshop on Upcoming New Technology in
Buses” on January 16, 2015.
• SIAM is also organising the
2nd SIAM Automotive Logistics Conclave on January 16 and 17. The conclave would
be deliberating on a wide range of topics of interest to the Logistics Heads of
Automobile Manufacturers, as well as Logistics Service Providers, Logistics
facilitators and Automotive Logistics fraternity.
